auto vs. manual

i've been thinking of buying a auto gsx, i've heard the autos are stronger and i dont wanna change clutches every day. i'm going to upgrade the 13g and injectors right away. i was just wondering how much slower would an auto than a manual if the auto had the same exact engine as a manual. what are the big drawbacks of the dsm autos. and finally can you find shift kits and stall converters for dsm's and where are they? thanx in advance

And why do u say change clutches everyday? unless you cant drive thats when u will be changing clutches a lot. Just do some research on this please.

I like manual but autos are just as great for drag racing if you have the time and money to make it there. Manual just feels better you can launch the car a whole lot better. Drive both of them and decide.

There are a cupple of diffrent places that make up grades for the autos . Try the atdsm board on yahoo..

stock auto vs stock manaul in exact same engine wear condition, stock manny wins. but it doesnt take much to learn how to drag with a auto. never can not get better with manny

auto trannies are basically impossible to fix, let alone awd auto trannies.
if you're gonna beat on your car, which you are if you are on this site, it will eventually shit out on you, and you get to find a way to make it work again.
i'd personally stay away.
