What is that canister that sits below the battery for what does it do can I remove it and what should I do with the lines that attach to it.

Thanks For All Help And Feedback

Im not sure what can your talking about but if your taking out your tranny go ahead, just make sure you put it back in right.

I dont remember coming it to this "can" when I pulled mine.

Take the damn thing out. Its called a charcoal canister. It is basicually to keep the fuel "smell" out of the engine bay and interior. I took mine out without any noticable smell at all. It does more then that, but nothing that you can't live without. Visit the Taboo site to learn more about the vacuum rewire.

vaccum canistor

Possibly, but I don't believe that DSM's have these. A vacuum canister is a storage to help the blend air doors and some other accessories work with the car shut down or going up a hill. Plus, a vacuum canister usually only has one hose coming out of it.

Thanks For the advice I think ill just rip it out and put the lines that connect to it in the fender and that will solve my problem
