HAH what a crock of shit.

First try adjusting your clutch with the master cylinder rod. If it came after the clutch install it is probably just in need fo adjustment.

Start buy turning the rod out so the pedal will move up.

thanks for a meaningful response. i also have a b&m short shifter i was thinking about taking it out.

Dont take out the b&m that is one of the best short shifters out there. If you cant shift correctly with the short shifter, then you just need to practice shifting.

We're talking about making a tranny shift better at high rpm.

Unfortunately the higher the rpm, the harder it is to shift fast. It's even harder if the trans has worn syncros, poor choice of oil, or bearings so worn there is freeplay in the shafts. Or it could be a normal DSM tranny.

well mine had the grinds and i used Redline MT 90 and it helped a crapload so ya

yes yes and yes, listen to this guy.

Try using Bg Syncro Shift (Trans. Fluid) and get a Symborski Shifter Kit(metal bushing kit). I have both in mine and I love them. They really help shifting at higher RPM's.

hey man i have the same problem too, i gonna put in a new slave cylinder but from what ive found out it is better to shift around 6500-6700 instead of pulling all the way to red line that is if you have a stock or mild turbo b/c the power starts dropping off on the top end. ive been shifting early and have been able to slam gears hard without missing one at all or getting hung up. but if i try to pull to 7000 it wont shift period and i have to granny it in there. but by shifting out early i tried shifting with out letting off the gas and WOW, its awesome. no more dropping back and losing a car inbetween shifts, instead the car jumps forward almost 1/2 a car to a full length by double cluthing like that. wish i would have shifted like this all along. it takes a while to get used to and you'll prolly bang off the rev limiter but thats what its there for =)
hope this helps you out some. best of luck
