I have been pulling my hair out with this one. My auto tranny was just rebuilt and I only have reverse (which works great). When I put it into drive, it seems like it engages, but I cant go any where. I have tried to locate the TCU. There is a small box underneath my ECU, but only has a couple of magnetic switches. is this it? I also found a box that looks like a ecu type behind the driver and behind the panel. I need some help here guys, I have not had this car on the road in over a year and I am getting very frustrated. I really think it is an electrical probelm, but not sure. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
P.S. b4 the rebuild it would shift really hard and only engage sometimes.

If it has 3rd gear only in D, sounds like you have the two 4 pin connectors for shift solenoids and A/B speed sensors hooked up bass-ackwards. Both are 4 pin connectors, one will have 3 wires, one 4. Think back to those lessons on Sesame Street for matching things up.
