whats the best tranny/transfer case/rear diff fluid?

I come from GM cars that use 10W30 for the manual transmission fluid. What can i use on the DSM? Does the BG Synchro Shift work any better than the other brands? And if anyone can tell me how much fluid the tranny/TFC/and rear diff hold. I've seen a few sites with help on how to do it, but nothing on how much to actually put in. TIA.

i payed 30 bux for 3 quarts of gm syncromesh, which is the same as the bg syncroshift........absolutely under no circumstances use anything but one of these, unless you like having your tranny shift like a pile of shit

for rear diff and transfer case they are not as picky, redline makes some heavy duty shockproof stuff that alot of people like to use, i havent changed either of mine yet so not positive about those

but as far as the actually tranny goes, use one of those 2.....

wrong, GM syncromesh and BG II are completely different

YOu might want to check out shock proof from redline. It can be used in the transfer case and rear end and this stuff is awsome. It will take about 10 minutes to fill the transfer case with a funnel the stuff is so thick.
