get the energy suspension polyurethene shifter plate bushings. 12 bux.

it does a great job, and doesn't make shifting really tough or noisy.

no *clink* noises.

i installed mine on my non running POS, it was fun :)

but then again anything would be fun seeing as i havent done anything with that car for 6+ months.....

i got the RRE ones, then i sat in the car pretending to be driving it, making my HKS BOV noise and all :)

i was gonna try and make the sound effects for a supercharged mustang, but i couldnt throw my voice that far back :p

im gonna get the ones from rre, same effect without the clink clank on shifting

I have the symborski kit, and it doesnt clink...

I had the RRE bushings and now have the Symborski kit. No real difference between the two. The Symborski doesn't make any metallic noises when I shift either.

thanks for the replys guys. i found a great deal in the classifieds. i got a brand new B&M short shift and Symbroski shift kit for 150 shipped. thanks again,
chris

so the urethane rre bushings are about the same as the metal symborski kit? i was always told they clink when you shift, but if they are both the same ill probably grab the symborski
