I am getting a 91 talon AWD. I was wondering, what is the top end on a stock tranny? What is the stock governor (if they have one) set at?

What I meant by top end is at what speed on a stock tranny do you start to run out of tranny (cant go any faster). When I said governor I meant what is the top speed you can reach in a stock 1g DSM without hitting the speed limiter (governor). I hope that clears it up.

I have no speed governor on my 1g and know of others who don't as well. I have never topped my car out, cause I dont really care too go that fast. I fyou want you could do the math and figure it out from the various posts about this topic elsewhere. I know some have said bout 150 or so on a stock 1g gsx...

Only 2g GST's have govonors. It's at like 132 or something. A stock 1G DSM runs our of power at about 130~135. After mods and stuff they will do 150+ (that's were my friends GVR4 gauge ends an it's been there, at 6500 RPM)
