What's the price for a 4g63 auto tranny ??

I'm looking for an auto transmission and having a hard time finding one. A guy offered me one for 800 usd off a 97 gst, I thought it was a little bit expensive but I'm kinda desesperate. What should a 4g63 tranny cost ? Anyone bought one from a junkyard or have any idea of the price so I can know if I'm being ripped off or no ?

used manual fwd turbo 2g trannys ae going for $800-900 right now, an automatic should be slightly cheaper and easier to find, if u had an awd u could get one for around 500, but u have fwd so u will have to pay more then that
