where to buy performance tranny fluid?

where have you guys been able to find tranny fluid like BG Synchroshift and Redline MTL? I haven't been able to find it at AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts. The gear grinding is driving me crazy. I've done the tighter shifter mod and it shifts BETTER it just doesn't shift GOOD, especially from 1st to 2nd. Anyways, will I be forced to buy online? I'd really prefer to be able to go back and buy more if my sloppy self happens to spill some or I need more than I thought. I understand I need 3 quarts or maybe a little more.
Any help would be appreciated.

Redline is normally sold at Performance shops and Sychroshift you normally have to order online. You can try getting GM Syncromesh from a GM dealership it's the same as BG Syncroshift.

yeah i got GM synchomesh at my local GM dealer for like 8 bucks a bottle.. nothing big..

thanks for the tips. I got some Synchromesh at a GM dealer down the road. Unfortunately it was like 12 bucks a bottle. Got ripped off I guess. Anyway I tried getting the drain bolts off but I just tore up my knuckles in the process and didn't get any where. I got the fill bolt out though. My manual sucks, I tell ya. The pictures looked nothing like my tranny. To conclude: I scheduale an appointment to get it taken in tuesday. Nothing to say you're a noob like having to have a mechanic unscrew three bolts for you, screww two back in, fill it till it overflows then screw the third back in. Simple enough.

I got mine off with a huge cresent wrench. It took all I had to get it loose. Those really mate well with the case. Good luck

I got mine off with a 24mm socket (drain bolt) and a 17mm for the filler bolt. There are three bolts?!

To get the drain out the first time I have to use a three foot cheater bar. that thing was on there tight.
