Need some help here.

The Problem...

My clutch is slipping really bad and takes a long while to engage, the motor is reving up into the 4000 mark and barely building speed. On top of that boost is very minimal and usually not happening unless I absolutely gun it.

What I'm worried about is that my transmission is gone or about to go. I purchased a CF dual friction and a fidanza flywheel but if I'm going to have to rebuild the tranny I'll send it off now and do the entire install (clutch, tranny, flywheel) all together.

I've checked other threads and havent found anything thats quite like my problem so Im hoping some of ya experts can give me some general diagnosis, or thoughts.

Thanks Guys :dsm:

Yeah, I found that one after my post. Thanks for the heads up. I'm having a local DSM shop look at the problem soon and replace the clutch and flywheel. I haven't checked if my Speedo is moving like you described in your thread so I'll check into it next time I drive it. Just for futures sake what did the axles cost you and does anyone offer aftermarket axles (lighter and stiffer) for the 2G DSM? Thanks again mattn.
