i recently got a japan trans and transfer case but the final drive was off. my mechanic swapped my old 4 spider center diff and front diff into the new trans and told me that extra work was free. i want to give him a fair amount but have no idea how much to give him for swapping the front/center diff. if anyone knows how much this costs it would be of great help to me. thanks.kevin

I am having a new center diff swaped in. It should be done tomarrow if you ant i can let you know what i am being charged.

It should take a maximum of an hour to do. I could do mine in probably about 15 minutes because I've opened these trannys up a time or 20. So if you want to be fair pay for an extra hour of labor.
