Car wont shift at 7k RPM

I got a stock clutch and tranny, and every time a race rolling with the lill hondas i try ro shift at red line but it wont budge and i dont want to force it. Is this normal or something wrong, also my 1 gear pop out some times especially when i let off the gas at high RPMs.

No point in winding it that high, you're out of guts well before that.

That could be one of many things. I would say the biggest problem is that you own a DSM with a stock tranny and clutch setup. I would say that a rebuild might be in order sometime in the near future. If you have the cash, rebuild it and do the clutch at the same time. It will save you money in the long run.

I got a Big t28 with supporting mods the turbo pulls good allthe way to red line, but once there i have too wait till the revs drop till like 6k so i can shift. What do you peopple usually shift on sock clutch?
