I installed an ACT2600 on my 1997 gsx along with a fidanza flywheel. I broke it in for about 500 miles and I love it but about 1 week later I started having minor problems. ( I had a shop install it and I know it's done properly ) It's hard to get it to go into first gear .... like I move the shifter over and when I try and push it up into first it won't go unless I force it almost. If I do it all quick and hard it goes in ... no grinding or anything. Reverse isn't hard to get the shifter to go into, but it grinds sometimes ... Everything else is fine and there are no problems while driving. It's wierd .... reverse obviously never gets beat on yet gives me the most problems. Sometimes 1st goes in easy ... sometimes not. Sometimes reverse grinds ... sometimes not. What could be causing this?
