4th gear pop-out

I did a search and found that a few other people have a problem with 4th gear popping out sometimes. It does this randomly, sometimes I can drive for an hour without it doing this, sometimes it will do it every other time I shift into 4th. It seems almost as if it isn't fully engaging 4th gear every time and maybe that is why it throws the shifter back out. I'm hoping it is just a problem with shifter cable adjustment, as it never really did this until not long after I installed my ACT2100 clutch.
Is there a good write up around about what all to check out when experiencing this prob?

Mine never pops fully out but when I shift into 5th sometimes it does help me out a little and pops out of 4th...as far as reviews? Dunno

BTW...I also have an ACT 2100

Just my .02 it could be a few different things.
1. Worn or improperly adjusted linkage
2. Transaxle loose on engine
3. Shift linkage does not work freely, binds
4. Input gear bearing retainer broken or loose
5. Dirt between clutch cover and engine housing
6. Worn shift fork
