I have a big problem. On my '95 NT I am cruising and when I got to shift into 4th, there is a click. Not really a grind, but a loud click. What do you think it is? Is it a sync?

Also I have a question. How do you adjust the clutch pedal. I would like the clutch to kick in right off the floor instead of 2-3 in. where it kicks in now. All responces appreciated. Later

I wouldn't worry about a click. My third & fourth do that too, and I figure it lets me know I'm in gear :thumb:

As for adjusting the clutch, you can find tips for adjustment in your shop manual, Chilton's guide (you have those right? hehe) or just here:

For the record, I wouldn't recommend adusting it to make the engagement lower towards the floor. My clutch was like that, and I'm right now ending up replacing my entire clutch pedal assembly because the lower engagement was too much stress on the pedal welds. Not fun, and not cheap...
