Well, somehow my clutch pedal got royally screwed up. The adustment rod bolt to the master cylinder became unscrewed somehow, and in the process the pedal fell to the floor, and subsequently blew the welds holding the main pedal to the rest of the pedal rod.

So I"m left with a decision, to have the pedal rewelded or to replace the entire assembly?

I can't seem to find the part number on the assembly either - its not on the Mitsubishi CAPS and I can't find it on Conicelli's Part Search (www.partznet.com) - does anyone know what it is?

Could I get a pictur of where you broke it? The clutch pedal assymbly is actually pretty precise and if it is a little off on welding you mey have a hell of a time getting your clutch adjusted properly. Try getting one from someone parting out a car.

Well, I picked up another assembly at a local salvagae yard for $35. I wasn't sure how easy/hard it was gonna be to find one so I was more worried than anything.

I should have everything back today, so I'll take a picture of where the weld blew...
