Whats up guyz? I'm getting really f%$#@^! pissed, Heres the story, My car started grinding and felt like the clutch was slipping, so i ripped the transfer case off and found a blown bearing in it, so i removed it and wired up my driveshaft to see if that was were the grinding was coming from, So i drove it FWD and there was no grinding but my car would redline and it wouldnt go no where very fast, so i replaced the clutch and I still have no acceleration, is there any adjustments that I could do? If anybody has any awnsers or ideas let me know, thanks

are you still in fwd? If you are you are risking ruining your viscous coupling... you need an vc eliminator to run fwd safetly. But that would explain your slow acceleration

I thought it would just disconnect the rear wheel drive, whats viscous coupling? I only ran it once for about 2 tenths of a mile, think i messed anything up?

The vicous coupling is what transmits power between the front and rear tires. If the rear is disconnected the power will mainly be sent toward the back (sense its easiest to spin because nothing is connected). This can burn up the coupling and will appear like a slipping clutch. There is a vicous coupling eliminator kit sold by many companies that eliminates this problem. Look up some threads on running an awd on a fwd dyno. They use an eliminator and convert the car to fwd. I don't know if you hurt it or not as I am not too familiar with converting to fwd.
