I own a 98gst i just had a act2600 stock throw bearing put on. The pedel was stiff as hell then it started to have play in the pedel then the pedel would have small pressure. I replaced the master and slave bleed the system and still the same so i took it to a shop to have them bleed it. I got it back and the pedel was stiff as hell again :D 2 days later same thing i figured it was a bad master so i replaced it again and bleed the master and the slave once more same pedel effort and the car runs fine and dosent grind but the clutch disengages werid (makes the car jerk a little) i was thnking about the slave can it really go out this soon its only a week old. Plus i was also going to that shop again and ask them to bleed the system again to see if it holds but if it doesent does anyone know what the hell is going on or has this happened to you if so how did you fix any ideas would be great. I checked all lines and none is leaking checked all fittings could the pedel spring be bad or someting in that my pedel is lined up perfect with the barke pedel but the first inch of pedel is like pushing air.

That is really strange, but it sounds like something in the hydraulics of the system. I was having a similar problem with mine (however, not to that extent) and it helped me out alot when i put in a braided stainless clutch line. Good Luck.

I adjusted the master rod and its stiff now but the clutch engages and disengages really fast like right away like you push it down a 1inch or little less and the rest of the pedel swing is nothing i dont like it should i adjust it back but when i do that the pedal starts to get soft:confused: and once i did this the pedel was hard and yet i still get air from the slave i take a bottle and put fluid in it and a tube from the bleeder and the other end in the bottle my friend pushs it and air bubbles for like 25 minutes and it felt the same am i getting air out or what the hell this is so confuseing.

how do you know if the fork the slave is pushing is bad or going bad?

ok IM SO  tHE PEDEL WENT SOFT AGAIN IF YOU PUSH IT LIKE A INCH AND HOLD YOUR FOOT THERE IT DROPS TO THE FLOOR IM GOING TO CHANGE ALL THE HYDRO LINES AND SEE IF THAT WORKS IF NOT ANY IDEA WHY THIS WOULD HAPPEN OR A WAY TO FIX IT ONCE I CHANGE THE LINES THE WHOLE HYDRO SYSTEM WILL BE NEW FROM THE MASTER TO THE SLAVE (ALSO IF I PUSH THE SLAVE ROD IN TOWARDS THE SLAVE IT GOES BACK IN NOT EASY BUT I USE ONE FINGER IS THAT SUPPOSTE TO HAPPEN AND HAS ANYONE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE RESIVORE THAT IS MOUNTED TO THE TRANS THE METEL CYLINDER PLEASE HELP  ONE LAST THING I HEARD OUR CARS HOLD AIR IN THE LINES THAT TAKES SOMETIMES DAYS TO GET OUT IS THAT TRUE PLEASE ANY IDEAS OR IF THIS HAS HAPPENED TO YOU TELL ME WELCOME TO ALL IDEAS.
