Which one is it for the 91' gsx/talons's? 22 or 23 spline?
I know this is a noob question, but I need a new tranny asap.

Also,
My shifter is locked in reverse cant get it back to neutral either.Tranny got a hole in it somehow and the fluid leaked out , seizing the tranny. Cant get it into any other gear either. If I tow this car onto a flatbed, will anything get ###### up (driveshaft, axles etc). Thanks.

If this helps, my car was built in June 1991. I know a certain time in 91' the trannies changed, so I dont want to order the wrong one.
Also, if I get 92- 94 tranny, do I need to get new axles?
the code # for 91 tranny is W5M33
W5M31's are for Colt's and Non Turbo AWD Galants
thanks

That one could go either way. The easiest way to tell is to simply look at the transfer case. If it is all aluminum, then it is a 22 spline. If it is not, then it is a 23 spline.
