Location of Tranny Cooler

Sorry for the newb question, but I cant find the transmission cooler for my automatic gsx. Any of you guys have install pics of upgraded ones?

I've searched vfaq and this site and found nothing,
thanks for the help.

If not in the left wheel well (driver's side, counterpart to the IC), then it's in the bottom of the radiator. Look for the hoses leading to either.

Why would Mitsubishi install a tranny cooler there and then cover it with a piece of plastic? My car is 5 years old now and I barely found out I have a tranny cooler there and took off that plastic cover.

haha that's a good question....
but i think this is nano's car on dsmtalk...
my install pretty much mirrored his...

Because they were afraid you'd run and tell, and they're modest about it.
