i think my trans/clutch might be messed? help

ok, this kid in a fricken neon wanted to race so hey, i had to. i have a 92 gs with 127,000. i think it was a mistake, so we hit it, i'm pulling on him and i throw it into 2nd then to 3rd and its like stuck in 2nd. it still redlines when i put it in 3rd and 4th so i stop and it kinda smells weird like somthing is burning. so now 1st goes ok, but when i put it in 2nd it feel really weird and it clicks(on my stick)when i jam it in. all other gears work fine. do u know whats wrong. please help.

sounds like a synchronizer going bad. mostly all DSMs have bad syncs going into 2nd gear.....it really sucks.....get some GM synchromesh or BG synchroshift tranny fluid before it gets to bad.
