Auto to Manual tranny . how hard is it?

Ok well . .im a newb as ya see . . i just wanted to ask you guys something . .im thinkin about buyin a 91 gsx but its an automatic and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are fine , but when it shifts into overdrive it neutrals out. I was thinkin that if I bought it , I would just want to make it a manual and not an automatic. My question is, how hard or easy would it be to convert it, and also how much do you think it would cost to buy a manual tranny? . . .Thanks

Just replace the overdrive clutch.
