I was ordering my new sloted/drilled breaks from dsmparts.com and i saw this new product that i have never seen before.

Aparently it replaces the 2 rubber bushings at the end of your shift cables where they hook up to the tranny. So i was like wtf, ill try em out they were only like 25 bucks or somthing.

I Installed them last night, it took a little work to get them into place properly but the results were great. Even less muchy feeling going into gears. About as big of a difference as when i installed the symberski kit or however you spell it.

Just figured you guys would like to hear of somthing else to make these damn dsm shifters work better.

Yup, I did something like that, too. But I just peeled the rubber coating off the bushings and added a couple of properly sized metal washers in place of the rubber. It took a little time to install but it tightened the feel nicely.

Then I cut up a soda can into 3/8x1" strips and wrapped them around the shift lever ends so that they take up all the freeplay where the cables attach to the shift levers on the tranny side. Know where I mean?
