So my Six puck is finally broken it to my new fidanza. Basically it doesn't need to be broken in but it does get better over time.
I have a Sprung six puck, a 2500 Pound pressure plate which I believe has a different pivote pound so the pedal pressure is FAR less then a ACT 2600, and it is. ANd a Brand new Fidanza Flywheel.
AT first it was hard to take off from a stop, would chatter like crazy at anything under 300RPMS, so I would slip to 400 grand get moving, then BANG, clucth grabs and I am off. NOW after about 300+ miles of traffic stop and go driving in miami, I believe my Flywheel heat sheild has finally been broken it, No more chattering, got less and less, and now I can take off liek a stock clutch, only now it really grabs HARD, and still bangs the car at WOT shifts. THE flwheel does drop your RPMs faster but it is good as by the time you shift, your right at the beginning of your powerband once again. This clucth just owns, it feels just like stock after break in. The springs in the sprung disk are still noisey after deceleration but is slowly going away.
Another amazing thing about this clutch is that you can SLIP the six puck if you desire, if not just drop it and it wil hold tigher then anything, break your center diff before it lets go. It will still chatter if I try a real slow take off but entirely avoidable.
AS far as streetable, as streetable as a Stock clutch and infinately easier then a ACT 2600, feel more like a 2100, and should nopt help out crank walk any.
I love this clutch, cost me $300 from EBAY+ shipping so $318 all together, brandnew, with TO bearings (non Mitsu) and the alignment tool, what a gem of a clutch, you should consider one of these over som e acks if you want a Metalic clutch that is sprung for a good price and longevity, it should last 40,000 Miles with proper care, and 2500 with a six puck is plenty of grab.
