i have been working on this job for about a month and im still not done(i work 50-60 hours a week 7days). and i cant figure out whats worng. i have a act 2600 w/ a fidanza fly wheel and extended push rod on the slave cylinder.the clutch wont fully disengae. i have the cluch adjusted about all the way out and i have blead the line. i took the boot off the clutch fork and the through out bearing is moving back and forth. the pluming all looks fine

my thery
presserplate to fly wheel bolts were tourked to much

any other thoughts ideas anything to try befor i drop the traney.

My friend also had the same problem with his. They suggest replaceing the whole clutch pedel assembley. They tend to wear out. Now with the high pound presure plate, it just not up to the job:confused:

It could also be. That who ever machined the flywheel. Did not machine the step heigh big enough.

How old is the Fidanza? Did it have the recall work done to it? With the NEW dowl pins and the revised step height? If not better take it out and send it to fidanza to get it done, they will do it for free, no prob. IF your setep height is too shallow (like what fidanza did for a while with a step height of .590 or something .59#) it will never fully disengauge and constantly rub.

Did you check you step height, makes all the dif in the world.

thanks for the info on the findanza i didnt konw about that ill check it out. when was the recall. cause i got mine shiped to my shop strait from the findanza wear house about a month ago. but it could be there old stock.

Oh, then you Flywheel is Fine, this was over a year ago, but true, infact I bought a Used Flyewheel, and the heat sheild was FUCT and one of the Dowl pins was missing, called them up, they said send it to them, they fixed it for free and got it back to me the next day. Found out it was for a GS-T, they over nighted me the AWD unit, and I had to send back the other unit.

Yous should be fine, but call them up and ask the specs anyways.
