it's been a month or two now that i am having problems with my car (auto) rs eclipse 99 and has 70,000+ miles on it. the problem is this. everytime i slow down or sometimes changing gears (from 1st to 2nd) i feel like there are some slippage. not much on the changing gear while driving but more into stopping or slowing down.
you can really feel right before you do a full break- went to mitsu dealer for a transmission check and didnt find anything. oh also, theres like a "thug" sound when it slips? anyone experience this problem or anyone knows what's the real cause of this problem?

a reply will be very appreciated

thanks :dsm:

Clunk, my man- not clank. It's a stiff downshift that doesn't feel normal.
