double synchro's heavy duty synchro's?

Ok, so I'm having trouble getting into 2nd and 3rd gear at high rpm's. So I was looking into getting the TRE 2nd gear double synchro. But what about 3rd gear? TRE only sells the 3rd/4th double synchro only for their TRE gearbox. Is there anybody who sells a 3rd/4th gear double synchro where you do not need a "special gearbox"? I just need parts where I can just give them to my mechanic so he can just throw them on. Anyone think they can help me? Or any other suggestions I might try out to figure out my problems shifting at high rpm's?

Also, when talking with my mechanic, he said that 97+ dsm's have a double synchro 2nd gear. Is this true? If so, what's the difference between that and TRE's double synchro 2nd gear?

What are you reving to? DSM trannies hate to be reved high and suck at getting into gear above the 7200rpm rev limit. As for double synchro 3rd and 4th gears since the tranny doesnt come that way from the factory Im sure you wont just be able to "throw them in". Yes its true that the 97's come with a double synchro, Im guess the ones from TRE are more heavy duty.
