What is the best method to remove the balance shaft belt crank gear ?? This is the inside gear on the crank shaft, looks to be carbon fiber or something. Just wondering if I can pry on it , or what is the best method of removal ?? I need to replace the crank seal.

Are you talking about the one thats about 3 inches in diamiter and a bout 1/2 inch thick? If so you shouldn't have to pry it, but you can GENTLY. They're easy to remove you just have to pull evenly on it.
