2G Synchros in a 1G Tranny?

Arent the synchros in a 2G tranny a lot better than the ones in a 1G? If so, could you put the 2G Synchros in the 1G Tranny? Just wondering, thanks!
 
they should be the same except for the 99 which has the double second gear synchro set. If you want better shifting then replace your synchros.
