Gears, Tranny, Something?

I know we all have problems with grinding gears (synchros, whatever). Is anyone aware of anyplace that makes a gearset or whole transmission that fixes this FOR AN AWD? I know quaife can make one for the FWD, but they never reply my emails about one for the AWDs. Please help.

I called a few places about heavy duty gear sets for my 98 GSX. After I started to receive $10,000 quotes to have it done, I gave up. I think at one point I heard Extreme was going to make an upgraded tranny and sell it for between $5000-$7500 Not sure if that ever flew.

How do the quaife's effect things? Is it worth it to do one at a time? Which one should be done first if so? Something I've always wondered about.

I replaced my center diff first only because I the stock 2 spider gear center diff when launching the car. (got wheel hop) I replaced the front diff because the last time at the track I realized that only my passenger side front tire was spinning when I launched the car. (before I saw the vid and the rubber only in the passenger side wheel well, I thought all 4 tires were spinning. I have yet to drive the car with two Quaife Diffs in the car. We will see how agressive I will be able to launch it now! And I plan on taking the car to some track events, so that should also be fun...
