What would cause this? Never seen this before.

I was driving to work when my clutch pedal would not fully disengage the clutch for no apparent reason. I first thought my slave/master cylinder went out but nothing was leaking, so I figured a bent clutch fork and pulled the tranny and found this:

Notice the pressure plate fingers are not lined up

Its a ACT 2600 with a street disc with around 15k. What could possibly cause this? Any input would be fantastic. Thank you!

The pressure plate should have all the finger pointed up a little, i think you must have had a spring come out where the fingers are sitting low.

I have heard more than one story of the ACT pressure plates having problems like this with the fingers. Although I am running a 2100 and have had no problems yet. Get with ACT and see if there is anything they can do for you.
