what should i get level10 kit or high stall torque converter

wich would be better for improving my 1/4 mile time the level 10 kit for 485.00 or a high stall torque converter for 485.00.also how much does a translab shift kit help seeing as how its only 75.00.

i have a 99 eclipse with 49,000 miles on it and want to make it atleast 1 sec faster 1/4 time with upgrading the tranny.So what would be the best to do that including cost wise.

A shift kit and end clutch will not make you any faster, they will however, increase duribility. A proper converter will make you go faster.

so a high stall torque converter and a translab shift kit would make my car 1/2 -1 sec faster?also do you know of any good torque converters?

Yes, I know of some really good converters- but the forums are not for advertisement- if you would like to pm me I could explain the differences in all of the popular brands of torque converters.

i found out though if you have the 420a motor which has the a604/41te transmission, the alto end clutch and translab shift kit will not fit

There are 604 shift kits available.
