hey, I was wondering if puting an RPS max series 6 puck sprung hub disk clutch in my AWD car would be a poor decision, I have plans of 400 hp+ for my car but as of now it is mostly stock, I know that this clutch would put more stress on the drivetrain but would it bee too much? thanks for any coments and here is a link to the clutch http://www.turboclutch.com/retail-MAX.htm

That would be an OK idea. Since it's a sprung disc it will absorb most of the shock and vibration coming from the engine. Normal 6 pucks are rigid, which transmits a lot of vibration from the engine, and that kills tranny bearings. But it will still grab hard like a 6 puck. It'll be hard to slip, it's more like an on/ off switch.

ok but do you think my tranny would still be safe if I was producing 400+ horsepower?, asuming I'm not dumping it at 6000 at every light cuz I don't do that
