... C/W? That's awesome. Yeah, powersteering pumps have an internal valve that keeps the pump disengaged until you actually turn the wheel, then you hear the noise. I the case of only in gear, that's probably due to the belts spinning faster than at idle. As p/steering pumps get older, they get noisier. That's fine.
