Fwd or awd transmission? Not sure what to use

Ok heres the deal. Im parting out my awd talon. I have picked up a 99 mirage its all setup for a trubo motor and everything. Problem is he was using a fwd transmssion and clutch. I have a built awd trans and a twin disk clutch. Im wondering if its better just to make the awd trans fwd and use that with my twin dksi clutch. Other option is to buy a fwd trans and a new fwd twin disk clutch. I can get a fwd trans thats built with doubble syncros and evo3 rails in it. Im not sure what route to go. If i use the awd trans im going to upgrade the froks to new built ones jnz sells. the other thing i have to think about is i was planning on making the car awd at some point not right off the bat i want to get it going and drive it a little frist before i even think of going that route. Any advice would be great thanks guys

It makes more sense to use the awd that you have being that it has the good stuff already in it and get the vce to make it work! Just my $.02!

AWD trans made to fwd. very easy to do and I was talking to shep about this, seems to him that the AWD trans is just all around better than the FWD tranny and advised me to keep the AWD trans but Im going awd now so I have no choice . Thatll also be an option for you if you ever convert to it, you'll have the trans

I have a VCE that will now be for sale if you are interested! haha

Ya it is very common to see an AWD race trans made to match up with the fwd guys. TRE says the same thing so that is 2 out of the top 3..

shoot me a price when its out im in NO rush dont forget this isnt a talon the awd trans is a tad bigger but should still fit. Next question maybe someone can answer for me is the fwd axle for the driver side is a soild one piece the awd is a two. why is that and should i run the fwd axle with awd trans the car had good traction with this axle im afaird it wont with the awd. Im also not wanting to have to make a spot to bolt up the half shaft thanks!
