Problem:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/dri...ch-pedal-half-way-up-high-rev-speed-stop.html

Im taking my car to the shop maybe next week. I've been having this problem and I couldn't find much help here. I've been glued to the search threads for a long time. Did pretty much everything on there to no avail.
My question is, when I take it to the shop is there anything particular I should tell them to look for? Im guessing it'll probably be a $400- 700 to a 1 week fix, hope not!:sneaky::confused:
The closest Mitsu shop is 45 minutes away so I might be taking it to the local Toyota dealership where my dad goes for his fix up's. They have like a Volvo tech, BMW tech, Honda tech, Mazda tech, Lexus tech, and Toyota tech. I haven't check if they have a mitsu tech yet. Yes I could just take it to the SMALL shops around my house but I don't think they have experience for headache mitsu clutch problems. I've seen a gst at the small local shop and it was there for 2 months. The problem that gst had, Im not sure but I know for sure I can not wait that long because this is my DD and family cars are limited so I can't be borrowing their cars.:banghead: Plus 6 days a week of work = I'll be screwed pretty much!
Advice and help appreciated! Thanks people!

What's the status on your car?

One thing to keep in mind when searching; search google to see if it is a general automotive problem, versus a DSM specific issue.

In google, I searched "clutch pedal only comes back up halfway", and found that there are many many people with various makes and models with that issue.

Check it out: - Google Search

Looks like a leaking master cylinder is one common cause. You could probably do that yourself really low cost.

Thanks for the heads up and time. I've post many times on here but seems like I'm a ghost and no one responds. The problem is still the same.
I haven't taken it to the shop yet. It could also be the master cylinder but I've read some threads on here were they changed it and it was still the same. But I guess I could dish out a few bucks for a master diy job.
Thanks again! I dont feel so alone now:pray:
