What gear stacks fit into what year cases

I have a 1992 GSX MTX and a few years ago shredded some teeth and got some used stacks out of a 1990 and put them into my case. Had to replace the center diff (which is welded) and if I remember right because of the difference in the angle of the gear cut. Than last year wrecked first gear again and had to replace more parts in it which involved cobbling up some more parts in the trans.

After getting everything back together and replaced the 1/3 cluster in it and other parts I found that my case is leaking because of the broken teeth that went around the front diff and cracked my case.

Now I'm looking for an empty case to put all of my parts into but before I make any jumps here I wanted to make sure that the stacks would fit into any of the late 1990-1994 transmission cases.

Anyone know if the stacks will work in what year transmission cases?

I'm pretty sure that if you use all internals from a donor trans, that it will all fit into any turbo case. I put '90 guts into a friends '97 case. I know that's no upgrade, but it was what we had. It works great. As far as internals go, these things have been changed constantly. If replacement parts are needed for a particular set up, then the best thing to do is match the parts up, rather than going by what they are "supposed" to be.

That was sorta what I was thinking about everything. Good to have a little confirmation from someone else also.
