Plain and simple, would my transmission leak if it was overfilled?

I have a small leak between the transfer case and the transmission. I know it was overfilled because while it was on level ground I took the fill plug out and lost about half a liter or less. I know it might be the seals but it's a new transmission and a fairly new transfer case. At the moment I checked my transmission levels I also checked my transfer case. It was really low, but this could be because I did the carrier bearing fix and while I did this I put my car level while the driveshaft was out and my tcase oil leaked all over the place. I'm not sure how much but it was enough to make a puddle.

no, your constant velocity shaft seal right above your t case must be leaking.
i have filled my trans plenty of times on none level ground with no ill effects.
I would pull t case and change the seal clean off everything with brake clean and a rag and see what happens. The easiest way to fix none obvious leaks is to start eliminating the possibility's from around ware it is coming from.

Is it a manual? I over filled mine a bit when I installed it on purpose none leaked out. I did maybe a half a pint or quart over to be sure.
