I have a 2g with a brand new clutch, flywheel, and synchros. I have put 1000 miles on the clutch already. The whole time I had "pedal pump up" not knowing that's what was wrong with my clutch until today. I made some adjustments to both adjusters on the clutch pedal so that the clutch grabs a couple inches from the floor and now there is no pedal pump up. The car ran great for about 10-15 mins then it started grinding while shifting from 1st gear into 2nd gear. It grinds but I can still get it in gear. I just spent the last couple hours adjusting the clutch pedal and it would run fine for a few shifts then after a few more it would start grinding again. What could be causing this?
