I purchased this clutch last year around July 08. It worked fine when i first had it but then noticed something funny with the engagement. I think the pics speak for themself. I wouldnt recommend this clutch at all. Any of you guys ever used this clutch on your DSM? Its an F1 Racing clutch, bought the whole kit for like 130 shipped... I probably going with the ACT this time:thumb:. what do you guys pushing high HP recommend:hmm:

I like ACT also I just didnt like the thread that was started on their disks. Shep runs that and he has no problems with it, I got nothing against ACT since i have never used their products...the thread was about how the center hub of the clutch would break off, or something with the springs..

I had the exact same clutch in my awd and i did the same thing in all of 300 miles of driving.

I lost a race to an mostly stock srt4 because of it :( I just bought it out of boredom and to see how and if it would work and it proved that you get what you pay for.

yes I agree you get what you pay for... it may be cheap but the quality sucks

I used to run a 4-puck on my car awhile back. It was nice and light for very fast shifting and didn't have the stupid springs in the hub to make it feel like garbage and break. I think when it comes to single disk units, 4 or 6-puck unsprung is the way to go.

What most of us higher HP guys run now are twin disk 7.25" units. They shift quicker at any RPM (don't drag) and can handle the torque.
