Hey guys,

I have a 97 GS-T. I'm coming up on 90K miles and am gonna need a new clutch in the next couple weeks. I looked through the parts page on the site, but don't really know enough about clutches to make an informed decision. The engine is stock, and I don't intend to do anything major that will bump HP besides a new exhaust.

Does anyone have recommendations for a good, inexpensive clutch for the car? Or is the stock one good enough?

I work at a honda/nissan/toyota/mitsu dealership so I can get the stock clutch at cost.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Ari

If all the mods you are going to do is a new exhaust and you don't constantly launch @4500rpms then another stock one is fine.

Agreeable. The ACT 2600 is wel worth it if you are doing even a little bit of dragging. If you just like driving hard and having fun on the street and you aren't into much draggin, go for the ACT 2100, thats what I have and I love it for just casual driving with the ocassional hard driving. And in case you don't know what ACT stands for, its Advanced Clutch Technology. GL and enjoy the new clutch. And ya, DO NOT GO CENTERFORCE! Heard to many horror stories.
