The problems I am having is when I'm shifting into 2nd and 4th gear, it seems like it is not going into gear all the way. Also most of the time when I'm trying to shift into 4th gear, it pops out (IS THAT THE SYNCROS OR THE BEARINGS-CAN I DRIVE IT LIKE THIS OR WILL IT CAUSE MORE DAMAGE IN THE LONG RUN). The last problem I am having is I hear a whistling noise when i let the clutch pedal out and it stops when I push it back in (IS THAT TROW OUT BEARING-WILL THIS CAUSE MORE DAMAGE IN THE LONG RUN). The weird thing is I just had my clutch replaced with a ACT 2600 2 months ago. Could it be the problems of the installers because they did not instal it right? I'm lost!! How much will all this cost?

Two things. If you are getting the whine then there is a chance that
your clutch is adjusted incorrect. Do you have at least 1 inch of free play at the top of your clutch pedal? If you don't, this is not good for the thrust bearing.. I.E. crank bearing... meaning crankwalk !
As far as popping out of gear. Make sure your shifter cables are not binding anywhere. Make sure there is nothing pushing on them. Also check and make sure they are adjusted correctly.

The noise your getting is the bearings inside the transmission. When you press the clutch pedal in you are releasing the clutch which then allows the transmission to become disconnected from the engine. Everything in the transmission stops spinning, bearings not spinning no noise. The popping out of 2 + 4 could be the cable but more than likely its INTERNAL. The cost of this job could range between $1450 and up, if you find it cheaper either its a good friend, youre doing it yourself or youre getting what you pay for.
