Would I need to get my drivetrain inspected? (Accident Picture Inside)

Okay so my car was hit on the passenger side causing my rear wheel to be thrown off place and it is almost done and ready to be picked up. I am telling the body shop that I want the car to be taken to Mitusbishi to check out my drivetrain also before I sign off on the work so they can get a supplement from the insurance company if there are any damages. Is it possible that the rear wheel getting hit and ending up like this would mess up anything in the drivetrain of an AWD car or am I just being overly paranoid?

Short story pertaining to the wheel and accident. When I was hit my car spun around 180 degrees and the whole time I would assume the wheel was in the position pictured below(would this cause any damage to the drivetrain) When the flatbed came, the car rolled up fine without any audible noises. Don't know if this is important information, but the work invoice shows they would be replacing

rear knuckle suspension
upper control arm
lower control arm
strut
rear suspension link
I just don't want to get the car back and then a little while later something goes wrong with the drivetrain because of the accident.

damn i don't have any I guess I could see if the shop would raise the car so I can take some because if there is even a possibility of drivetrain problems, I don't want to sign off on the car because then I won't have any leverage with the insurance company because they can say I did it after I drove off.

I would think the subframe would be damaged too. If the subframe is damaged then the unibody mite be tweaked. I always sell my cars if they get hit like that or worse cause i see the car as tainted.

Replace the wheel too, And I think the subframe would be damaged also maybe just tweaked a little. Just make sure you dont accept it from the body shop not driving straight the wheels not sticking out straight or anything looking off.

Ok i do this at our shop all the time,you will be fine those parts that were changed are designed to collapse in the event of an accident,in order to save the sub frame from getting damaged,the only thing you may want to have checked out is your wheel allignment after the work is done.

My car was involved in an accident that caused the passenger wheel to be knocked off alignment and tilt inwards towards the car and the car spun around 180 degrees. I have been driving the car for a couple weeks and now I notice that sometimes when I make a turn and step on the gas the rear wheels will hop and cause a vibration through the entire car and this has never happened before the accident. What could be the problem? I noticed that one of my lugnuts on the rims that they took off is missing. Could it be that simple of a fix because I am thinking it isn't I plan on taking it back to the shop and want to have somewhat of an idea because I am going to tell them that it needs to go directly to mitsubishi because obviously they don't know what they are doing.

Waitaminute.... you're driving this thing while bent? The drivetrain won't put up with that for long. Fix it or park it.

Oh no sorry I didn't clarify. It isn't bent now. It was all repaired already, but now sometimes when I make a turn and get on the gas to speed up the rear will start bouncing/hopping sending vibrations through the entire car and making for one hell of a bumpy ride for a few seconds. I am thinking something they didn't replace could be the culprit maybe or bad alignment. I'm not really a suspension guru so I can only guess.

Is there more to the suspension that could have been replaced?

Have another alignment shop check their work. That's a nasty wallop.

I told you in the other thread that after a hit like that the car wil never seem the same. Take defiants advice get it checked out by another shop.
