Act 2100 disc question...

Long story short.I installed a 2100 w/fidanza flywheel about 5k ago,Didnt adjust master rod properly and prematurely wore down the clutch. Its slipping a tad bit now.Can I just buy a new clutch disc? Its a hell of a lot cheaper.

I know where to get one, but i appreciate the link anyway. My actual question would refer to the actual effectiveness of just buying the disc.I thought when replacing a clutch, you replace the pressure plate as well.

While you have everything apart, I would just check out the pressure plate and flywheel surfaces and make sure there is not cracking, hot spots, etc. Plenty of people just replace the disc (or swap in a puck if they had a street disc).
