I'm about to find out how this process goes with warranty repairs through Jacks.
It's late, and I'm going out of town for a family reunion so I'm going to make it kinda short.
Made a 3rd gear pull for a log. Pushed the clutch in, tried to put it in 4th and 5th, no go. Put shifter in neutral, let clutch out, trans still in 3rd. It popped out of 3rd after several seconds. Went almost a week w/o any more problems.
Did it again today, got worse with daily driving. Had to limp home w/o 3rd/4th. At times w/o other gears, but I was able to get it into 5th to get on the loop and go home. At some point heard some noises from the trans. It was rattling a little at idle when I got home. None of the noises were very loud.
Once I got home, after turning the car off and back on, at idle it would go into all gears.
I'm not drving it again, and I'm emailing Jacks tonight too.

Trans has about 300 miles on it.

I have a brand new factory slave cyl and master cyl. I have an extended slave rod, braided clutch line, my pedal is not worn at all at that normal spot. The fork was ok when I put the trans in. My throw out bearing was replaced(with a factory one) a few thousdand miles ago when I put in an ACT 2600 with street disk, and Fidanza flywheel.

Have you taken a look at your shift cables and mounting brackets for them? Loose brackets and damaged cables can do some really weird things. Jack is the man, I doubt you will have any issues with him if you need any warranty work done.

Cables, and moutning braket I bought brand new and installed with the trans. Shifter has very very little play in anything.
I also put in the bearings in at the end of the cables.
I'll see if they're loose.
He already messaged me back and said if I think it's a trans issue then send it back anytime and they'll check it out under warranty.

Edit: Everything outside the trans looks ok and is tight.

Popping out of gear like that is usually misaligned shifter cables or a worn syncro. I doubt the syncro is gone, so I bet it has to do with your shifter cables, expecially since you just bought them. Even if the tranny was bad you would still beable to force it into those gears. Also since you said the tranny has 300 miles I'm almost guaranteed its something other than the tranny.

Remember the extended slave cylinder rod is a bandaid fix and is NOT needed at all if all components are up to shape. I would talk to Jack and he may help you diagnose the issue. He runs his trannys on a machine that works them harder than you ever will so he knows they are in good shape when he ships them out.

I know, I just wanted it to raise the pedel a little more. I wasn't geting it to fix anything. I don't like getting upside down messing with that adjustment on the pedal. :) ha

The reason I don't think it's shift cable is it's only 3rd/4th. Which makes me think it's something with the 3/4 sliding hub, or shift fork. Maybe even just something with th detend ball for the 3/4 shift fork shaft.

And it's not popping out of gear. I would put it in 3rd, pull the shifter out and put it in neutral and the trans would still stay in 3rd for a few more seconds. This started doing that in 3rd only, then 4th started giving me issues. 4th wasn't doing the same thing, but I couldn't get it in 4th or 3rd.

All of this happened of a period of a few miles.
