Hi guys.
My tranny is acting weird on me.
When I'm driving (usually when the car is still cold) my 2nd won't go in all the way. If I force to go in, sometimes will go and some times won't, so I have to go back to neutral and shift again. That way it goes in fine. This is the same thing for third gear. (only heppens sometimes)

It started heappening after I took my car to the drag strip.

Any ideas what could be? Simple or Hard? Transfercase?

Thanks for any help you guys can give it to me.

Is your clutch dragging? Could be a damaged disk.

Jack

No, It just won't go in.
To get it in (when that heppens), I have to return to neutral and shift again, or I release my foot a little from the clutch and will go in.

Your clutch throw out bearing might be extending the pressure plate fingers too far then. When that happens, you will drag the fingers on the PP when the pedal is all the way down on the carpet and have symptoms similar to a dragging clutch. I would turn the master cylinder adjustment rod in a few turns to shorten the pedal travel and see what happens.

I have no clue in what you just sayd (don;t know anything about tranny) :(

But Im going to print this out and ask around. Thanks for the tips. I'll let you know if that was the problem.

So I still didn't had time to take to my mechanic (its 50 min away from my house with no traffic)
but anyway, I'm starting to suspect that it might not be the slave, and it's probably something internal.
My first gear now is doing this too now.
Sunday I took to the car to change my tranny fluid, and my fluid came out gray (a little silver).
DO you think it might my gears inside?
