[RESOLVED] in need of a very very stupid but important question answered

i have the B&M short throw shifter and is the little prong on the end go into the cable facing the drivers side or passenger i have it facing the drivers side and having alot of trouble getting in and out of gears and ewhen i twisted the shift knob as far as i could it faces the back seats, iknow its stupid but can i get a quick answer

the shifter was bought with the car so when it popped out i had no clue wich way but thanks for the link
