B&M is the best. It's 150. I think the neuspeed is more.

What sucks is the B&M uses part of the stock shifter assembly which I don't have becasue my POS OBX shifter replaced the whole stock shifter assembly.

you weld it back so that the knob is lower. If you weld it good then it should be perfectly fine. Unless you put some serious power behind your shifts.

I have the B&M. It was nice at first, but if you plan on going fast stay with your stock shifter. Otherwise you will start grinding gears. I know when I was shifting at 7k it was fine, but trying to powershift with a ST at 8.5-9k doesn't work out to well. Trust me on that one.

I love the B&M. I bought mine @ Auto Zone. They had to order it but it was $140. Much better deal than anywhere else I've seen.

thanks alot guys we ordered the B & M short shifter and i am waiting to get it delivered it should be in within a few days...by the way how difficult and how much time do u think it would take me and my dad to install this thing ourselves?

I have the B&M and love it. it comes with great instruction and has two settings 35% 50%. It took me about an hour to install it, but I know I could do it in about half of that or less now. I put mine in the 50% hole and it shifts good but it is a little harder then the 35% to move and some times when racing you could miss shift. I got the urethane shifter bushings and that all stopped. Hope this helps.

I also just recently installed a B&M short throw shifter and symborski shift kit. I love it! I can't really tell how much of a difference one or the other made since I put them both in at the same time, but it's a whole new feel now. I used the 50% throw reduction setting which reduced the throw quite a bit and there is a little additional effort required to shift gears, but I love the way it feels now.

Best way I can describe how it feels now is just, clean and crisp, if that makes any sense. It doesn't feel nearly as sloppy anymore. I also got a nice stitched leather shift knob which feels really nice on top of it all. :D

Install for both was cake. I wasn't watching the clock but I doubt it took more than an hour for both.

Doesn't look like it. I looked for a few minutes and wasn't able to find anything, and they don't list anything on their website for 1G's. If you want a definate answer I'd just email them or call em and ask, but it doesn't look like they make anything for you. :(
