sup everybody got my car a little while ago it has almost 70000 miles on it. its a first gen front wheel drive turbo. when i gas it and shift to second ( like a hard or fast shift it sometimes grinds. when im going slow and shift it also doesnt feel real smooth. i just replaced the cv boots and when i took out the axles some fluid came out and seemed to be dirty i compared it to the fluid i put back in and it was even close in color. so my question is could the fluid be my problem . what fluid does the 90 front wheel drive turbo take and how much. thanks for everyones help. latrers:cool:

Low fluid level will make it shift bad. It should be filled up until it runs out of the fill hole on the front of the trans. The best tranny oil to use is either Redline MTL or Synchroshift.
