carbon kevlar solid hub disc???

I have the ACT 2100 with their ACT sprung 6 puck ceramic disc on an ACT flywheel, if you want a review on that.
 
We really like the rigid hub (unsprung) 4 and 6-puck disks here. You will NOT feel a difference between the 4 or 6. We have played with them enough to find that the rumors of the 4-puck feeling worse than the 6 are untrue.

The 4-puck unit is very light, so will allow the synchros to work a little better at high RPM shifts.

The heavier the pressure plate, the bigger your clutch 'friction zone' will be with those. I would not recommend the 4 or 6-puck units on anything that is 2100lbs or lighter. 2600-2900 PPs work very well with them.

With the rigid hub though, you will get more engine harmonics and trans gear noise through your drivetrain. They can also chtter a bit when the car is idling.

One last thing- one of the main killers of a sprung disk are the springs. The rivots and springs seem to have a high failure rate. With an unsprung unit, you don't have all of those extra pieces that can break...
